Taking a look at the other 10RP races from pathfinder advanced races playtest or 40 point standard races by devil's workshops there not even close. My point is that it forces me to either abandon the old races or remove these ones and it certainly doesn't lend itself to the drop and drag gaming I have enjoyed with many other works that I use. I know what the word means, the majority of this book is setting which is fine if it was getting for but I wanted new and interesting humans of philosophy, not the cities of humans or perhaps it was meant to be a practical lesson in the philosophy of stoicism. From a purely mechanical stand point it is hard not to choose the human in any 3.5 system the start with greatest starting bonus of all, a feat and wile I like the idea of “If you match the ideals of an area you get a bonus” It's just off the depth charts in measurement of how good it is to have two bonus feats. Wile this could be rectified by limiting them to certain 'regional' feats I don't want to do that. With the advanced races playtest out I expected a brand new human, not as one of my players put it “Broken humans.”.
